How many lessons will I need?
Everyone is totally different, there are no hard and fast rules. If you have previous
experience or are able to have 2 or 3 lessons a week, it will obviously be a lot quicker.
Age and practice away from lessons can also be a factor. Talk to us about your
individual circumstances and we will give you an indication of how many lessons you
require. The DSA have rough guidelines on their website www.dsa.gov.uk.
How old must I be to drive?
The minimum age which you can legally drive a car on the public roads is 17.
If you are disabled and in receipt of mobility allowance, the minimum age is 16.
Until the day you pass the practical part of the Driving Test you are not allowed to
drive on your own.
What do I need in order to start driving?
You will need a provisional driving licence.
How often should I have my lessons?
How often you have your lessons is entirely up to you. We recommend at least
1 session of 2 hours per week (subject to availability).
